Meet Ed Stretton – Animal Care Manager

Ed has grown up surrounded by animals, especially dogs, and has been part of kennel life for as long as he can remember. Having watched his father, John, successfully run the kennels over the years, Ed is proud to now be part of the family business and is committed to continuing its smooth and caring operation into the future.
With hands-on experience not just with dogs, but also caring for livestock like cows and sheep, Ed brings a wide range of animal care knowledge to the team. His calm and capable approach means your dog is always in safe, experienced hands.
Ed’s passion for animals and his dedication to their wellbeing make him a trusted and valued member of our team.

Meet Tubs – Our Resident Receptionist

Tubs is our much-loved black Labrador and the friendly face of reception! Always ready to welcome visitors with a wag of her tail and a warm, gentle presence, Tubs has quickly become a favourite among both guests and staff.
You’ll usually find her snoozing behind the desk, keeping an eye on the day-to-day goings-on, or making the rounds for a fuss and a treat. With her calm and affectionate nature, Tubs helps create a relaxed and homely atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door.
Be sure to give her a pat when you visit—Tubs loves meeting new friends (especially the ones with biscuits)!
